What to Expect in 6th Grade
Sixth graders take Readers Workshop and Writers Workshop every day. These classes build the foundation for reading and writing across all subjects in middle school. Students learn to understand more complex texts, expand their vocabulary, and practice writing in different styles. They also connect what they read and write to their own lives and experiences.
